I am a super genius

So, as I mentioned before, A does not lead to B.

My call to my doctor's office to ask them if they'd received the MRI report? Remember that they cut me off and wouldn't answer that question? Anything that had to do with the MRI had to be discussed with the doctor.

I had an early morning appointment today. The first thing my doctor said was, "Did you get an MRI?" When I told him yes, and told him where, he said, "They didn't send me the results." Well, duh. I handed him my copy of the report and told him about his office staff's behavior. No response to that, to my eternal lack of surprise. It's a cardinal rule that you don't discuss poor customer service with the customer.

I have torn cartilage on both sides of my left kneecap. I need an arthroscopy, which is a kind of scope surgery. It's in and out, can be done under local anaesthetic if I want, and it means I won't be walking for a few days afterwards. I'll have to check my schedule and social calendar to make sure that I'm not interfering with anything important, and then I'll call for an appointment for the surgery. Woo hoo.

My doctor says that I'll only be able to play the piano after the surgery if I could already play it. Darnit!

You of course have access to your medical records. You just have to go through a more involved process than I do in order to get copies of them.

That's too bad. I've never seen or heard anybody play piano with their knees before.

Playing the piano??!!
You better come over here then, and I will teach you how to play the piano.

I sat and improvised a little the other day, and before I could stop myself I found me playing the intro to "Stairway to Heaven" with Led Zeppelin.

A brilliant party trick! ;)

PS. Sorry for not being... around in... what is it? 100 years? I have been spending high quality time with Monika, and we will shortly move together! Woohoo!

No worries. It's busy all around, as you might have guessed. Be well.
