I'm a lucky dog, but a sick puppy

Lee has a spare ticket to Jethro Tull tonight. Yay!

Good thing I'm not working Friday. These 10 hour days at work are tough & rough. It's even better that I have a doctor's appointment on Friday. My stomach's been upset off & on for the last week or two. Time to get some expert advice.

ooooh! Sounds like MUCH fun! I can't wait to hear about the concert. I have a mix tape that includes a piece from one of their live performances called "pee-break" hehe - basically, one of the guys had to pee so he left the stage to take care of his bladder and the rest of guys played some cool stuff 'till he returned. It was cool sounding enough to merit its place on an album (but I don't know the album's name off-hand) Anyway, Hope you have a great time!

It's called "pee-break"...
...because the name of the original tune is "Pibroch" (from Songs From the Wood). The "pee-break" thing is one of Ian A's little jokes--for the past 15 years or so, Tull has been playing instrumentals so he can rest his voice--and his body, can't run around that stage like he used to!

Man, I know waaaay too much about this stuff...

Lucky bastard!
Lee has a spare ticket to Jethro Tull tonight. Yay!

*sigh* It's looking like I'm going to miss this tour...while I was waiting for my tax refund to get here so I could afford a ticket, they seem to have sold out.... :-(

Have a good time. From what I've read on Ian A's journal, you should be in for a treat!

(Thank goodness there's a live album coming next week to console myself with....)

No tour dates near Pittsburgh. Grr.

Glad to hear you're going to the doctor for that stomach. 10 hour days are a recipe for ulcers and other stress-related problems.

I had fun at the concert, I'm feeling okay, but tired, and I'll post more in a moment
I think the concert deserves its own statement, so I'll post on that in a minute. Short answer: it was cool. 8^)
