I watched disc 3 of the expanded Two Towers stuff last night. Well, there was 3 hours of material, and I watched most of it. Good stuff...I really enjoyed it. They did some really incredible and impressive work.
Prior to watching television, I dealt with some finance stuff (the continuing saga of taming the mess in my office) and caught up on email and LJ. I also did some laundry and dishes...but had planned to accomplish a lot more. So be it. *shrugs*
Oh, and we did run some errands yesterday. This included my running to Borders for a birthday present for Jon (hi, Jon!). Borders took a long time because parents kept losing their children. Weird. I also stopped at Second Story Books and picked up a few used paperbacks for not very much...which is good, because I don't want to test our budget.
Oh, and I need to get to a real bookstore, because I'm interested in picking up the South Beach Diet book. Diets aren't exciting, so I won't talk more about it, to avoid boring you.
I hear that while I had the last two days off, the new Robot moved. Excellent. I should take more days off, then. *grin* They're putting up the smoked glass around it now, so they must be mostly done with it.
I'm administrative on Thursday, and was planning to sleep in...but I see I signed up for a 7am meeting. D'oh. No sleeping in for me.
Hopefully, Karen's new computer will be in soon. I still need to figure out how to return the desk we bought that doesn't assemble properly. The box is too heavy for me to move by myself. Any volunteers to help me get it in and out of my car?
And speaking of cars, Karen's is in the shop getting body work. We're hoping that it's back by Friday. Enterprise gave her an SUV, which is pretty funny. Maybe the box will fit in the SUV? *shrugs*
We stayed at home the last two weekends...which was good, because we got to have folks over for dinner on Friday evening. Bad because I didn't make it to synagogue. We're staying over at Ellen's this weekend, so the trend will not continue. I wasn't much up to walking either time. I'm feeling better, though, so it's all good.
We're going to the Israeli Embassy next Tuesday evening for a wine tasting. I'm a wine neophyte, so I'm driving and Karen's drinking. Harold and Becky are also going...Becky's driving, so I'm guessing Harold & Karen will be drinking buddies next week. :)
I think that covers it for now.

Funny you should mention that because I almost bought that for you on Monday, but decided you might not want me to spend the money.
I'm thinking about a Jacob-ectomy, and Atkins is bad for me.
You failed to mention that you went to shul, drove to DC, had lunch with me, drove to Beltsville and got my parking permit out of my car. Those things took time and are very good reasons for why more did not get accomplished.

Um, no. Those errands weren't yesterday. They were Monday. Silly sweetie. ;)
You should swing by, no matter the reason. You still have not seen our humble hovel, IIRC.
Hi Seth!
BTW, it was a great present.
So Seth gets the credit.
Word.
Second of all, see if _I_ get you any more presents. ;)
