Man, I gotta get me some lullabies

So, Julian melted down. No Karen, so I got him a bottle, got him a bath, and put him to bed. I read him a book or two (Goodnight Moon and Pajama Time!), but after a while, I needed to not read. So, I started to sing. But, er, I haven't known any lullabies for a few decades. So, tonight's songlist (program this into your iPods, kids):

St. Judy's Comet, Paul Simon
Friend of the Devil, the Grateful Dead
Lawyers, Guns, and Money, Warren Zevon
Yesterday and We Can Work It Out, by the Beatles. If he hadn't started snoring, then, I would have sung Signs by the Five Man Electrical Band (the acoustic version by Tesla, for the curious).

So, any other suggestions for songs that I should memorize on the way back and forth to work?

I think your playlist is right where it needs to be!

BTW, my son around that age fell asleep best to "As My Guitar Gently Weeps" -- but only if I was actually jumping up and down with him in my arms.
