Keep meaning to ask you: Do you like your Roomba? Is it worth it? Does it have to be emptied daily? If you don't, will it be a problem?

Inquiring minds want to know!

I like my Roomba just fine. I don't use it as much as I should - if I had bought the Roomba Scheduler, I'd be getting more work out of it.

It has to be emptied regularly. If I used it daily, I'd need to empty it every day or two, depending on what mess is created. Julian, for example, is hell on dropping Cheerios behind him like breadcrumbs; the cats just shed. Emptying it is a cinch, and replacing the filter is relatively infrequent. The rollers also have to be cleaned off, but it doesn't require any tools and isn't difficult.

I'd buy it again. The problem I have is that I don't like using it while Julian's home (I don't trust him to not play with it) and the best time to let it go is when I leave in the AM. Problem is that it's harder to get him out the door if I am running it. If I had the scheduler, I'd set it up to run at noon Monday through Friday, and I'd simply clean it out each night before bed.

That must be one of the world's few perfect words.

*grin* Thanks! We need to get him out to you guys again to run in the fields and play with the tractor. Mmm...tractors...

You are all welcome just about any time!

And I'm sure we can track down someone with a tractor.

It would be some Sunday where we don't already have plans. Beats me as to when...I'm not the keeper of the schedule. *shrugs* I'm just not as cool as Karen.

He's going to conquer the world. The question is: will it be by mutual acclimation of his skills, or will it be by force?

Thanks. I'm pretty happy with it myself.
