I took the day off from work

Karen and I had a parent-teacher conference at Julian's school. He's really doing well, which is wonderful news. After all, we're spending a lot of time and money raising him, and it would be good if he could go to college in the range of a decade to a decade and a half.

I planned to donate platelets again, but I have a sore-throat style tickle, so it's safer if I don't. I feel better now than last night.

I got home before Karen, and cooked lunch for the triplets and some portion of tonight's dinner. I then came downstairs and goofed off on the computer. It's a fascinating life I lead.

Time for something to drink. My throat, it is parched.

"and it would be good if he could go to college in the range of a decade to a decade and a half."

I spent 6 years in college, and my parents weren't too thrilled about it... and you're thinking he's going to be there 10 to 15 years?

Re: Confusion:
I was thinking he'd be *there* in 10-15 years. Nevertheless, one or both of us has an imperfect grasp of English. I'm not going to hazard any guesses.

Ah, but the occassional boring day can be quite pleasant.

I am not bored. I'm more productive than I need to be. I've emptied a few boxes still left from the office move, and after I check my LJ & mail I'll do other things.

Other things (did you see the invisible pause in the last sentence?) now means "feeding the triplets".
