Home improvement

These are the things done to the house since I bought it:
New outside light
New linoleum in foyer
New foyer closet door
New paint in downstairs bathroom, foyer closet, living room, dining room, kitchen, upstairs bathroom, master bedroom
New internal workings in both toilet fixtures. Upstairs toilet replaced a 2nd time, if I can swing it.
Electronic thermostat
Alarm system
New kitchen sink faucet (also fixing leak in sink)
Trim in upstairs bathroom
Deluxe showerhead in master bathroom
New light faceplates in master bedroom and bathroom
House wired for net connection
New vent duct (in the house) for clothes dryer

Replaced the front door knob & lock.
Trimmed the tree so that it doesn't hang over the gutters.
Fixing front walk to make it not cracked and up to code; replacing the flowers on the borders is next.
Worked on the hostas in the front yard.
Replaced the front doorbell push.

It did not show up in friends veiw and it looks pretty complete to me.

Except that it's not trim in the upstairs bathroom. It's Wallpaper Border.

You may not wish to mention that there had been a leak in the sink.

Also, please note that some of these had been done by the time the appraiser came last time, which may change things since your house was last appraised with the knowledge that you had an electronic thermostat and an alarm system. I don't think anything else was done by then.

Finally, the faceplates for the light switches will not affect the value of the house.

Thanks, sweetie.

I also remembered (duh) that we replaced the front door knob & lock. The deadbolt is still sticking. I'll try the other key when I get a chance.
